Getting There
OUR FREE SHUTTLE //
The Makers + Shakers are running a free shuttle bus running the White Bay Power Station / Biennale of Sydney to the White Bay Cruise Terminal / The Makers + Shakers Market. The shuttle will loop between the venues from 11am-4.15pm on Saturday + Sunday.
There are over 500 parking spaces (disabled parking right at the terminal entrance).
PUBLIC TRANSPORT // Bus 441/442 stops at Robert St, Rozelle and then it is a 10-15 minute walk up to the Terminal doors. Please stick to the footpath.
WALKING OR BIKES // Go through the gates at the entrance on Robert St (the footpath next to the boom gate), it is a 10-15 minute walk up to the terminal doors. Please stick to the path if you’re walking.
Workshops at the market
We are excited to present a number of low cost and super fun creative workshops for you to drop in and enjoy.
Kids Zone
The upcoming June market will feature a kids zone with low cost craft activities, a colouring competition and other free activities!
Australian Made
Makers and Shakers has proudly signed up as an event partner of the official Australia Made Campaign. This means that the only products on sale at the event will be Australian made. We’re backing Australian makers of handmade and locally-made industry, and we know our supporters want to do the same. Our goal is to bring the very best quality together and make it easy to support handmade businesses who produce locally.
Payment Options
Visitors can pre-purchased tickets to attend. All of the stallholders will accept cards and cash. Pre-purchased tickets are now available to the event.
No Pets (unfortunately)
Please note that dogs and other pets are not permitted at the terminal area (both inside and outside) with the exception of certified assistance animals.
Photography
We encourage shoppers to take photos and share them on social media using the hashtag #themakersandshakers. If you would like to take video or still photography for a commercial purpose, please ask permission of the market organiser before market day.
